These premium competition-quality Piranha Gear MMA gloves are made from 100% leather, making them nice and durable. The gloves feature an extra layer of padding across the back of the hand and over the knuckles. The open-finger and palm design allows fighters to have the mobility to execute finely tuned submissions, while also providing protection for throwing powerful punch combinations.
Because Piranha Gear isn't a top name brand, these gloves are much cheaper then similar competing gloves. All in all, we found that we got what we paid for - that is, an average glove. They are still a decent multi purpose alternative for NHB training, sparring and competing, though more seasoned fighters will be better served elsewhere.
