Stephan Bonnar is a well known American born MMA fighter, who broke onto the UFC scene thanks to his starring role on the first season of The Ultimate Fighter. Bonnar is best known for his epic fight against Forrest Griffin in which he lost by unanimous decision (29-28).
Following a string of recent disappointing losses, Bonnar announced on the MMA five post-fight show at UFC 101 day he was seriously considering dropping weight classes down to the middleweight division.
Despite his recent woes, autographed Stephan Bonnar gloves still fetch good money on the open market. This is in large part due to his place in UFC history. In particular , his famous matches with Forrest Griffin have forever ingrained in him in UFC lore. One of his fights with Griffin was named the best UFC fight of all time in a recent poll.
